When you create an account, upload a manual, or contact us, we collect information such as your name, email address, and any content you submit. This information is used solely to operate and improve ManualFox.

Information collected automatically

When you visit ManualFox, we automatically collect standard log data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on each page. This data is used in aggregate form to understand how our service is used and to improve performance.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. We also use analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics) to understand aggregate usage patterns. You can disable non-essential cookies at any time via your browser settings or our cookie banner.

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfil the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Account data is deleted within 30 days of account closure upon request.

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

ManualFox is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our homepage or by email. The date of the most recent revision is shown at the top of this page.
